TRT Press Release 11/09/2015

For IMMEDIATE RELEASE to all media

A Re Yeng bus service interruption

Tshwane Rapid Transit (Pty) Ltd (TRT) would like to inform all A Re Yeng passengers that the bus service is currently not running.

We sincerely apologise for the interruption of the usual service.

Our buses have been prevented from leaving the Tshwane bus depot because the Tshwane Bus Services (TBS) drivers are on strike. It is still unknown what led to the strike, but TBS management is trying to ascertain the cause and will attempt to resolve it.

A Re Yeng bus drivers are not taking part in the strike, but because our buses are housed at the TBS depot, it is not possible for our staff to gain access to the buses at this point.

We hope the situation will be resolved soon and our services resumed.

TRT wishes to sincerely apologise to all commuters for this inconvenience and we urge you to make alternative travel arrangements.

We will keep you informed of further developments in due course.

For further information on A Re Yeng, call 012 3584848.
